As a part of my first round of orientations, today we went to a Maori museum of war to see the Maori culture show made up of various dances and songs. It was excellent. We also had the chance to wander through the other floors of the museum, including one that housed a skeleton of the late Moa bird. Later, we went around the botanical green houses and fernery.
And yesterday we also found our way to Alberts park, which was setting up for the lattern festival happening this weekend....
